The position of Grade II Matron would be new to the

Hong Kong Service and replace the present position of Senior

Sister. Your Petitioners ask that a Nursing Sister, whether

or not holding an administrative position after fifteen years

satisfactory service be appointed to the position of Grade II

Matron.

Your Petitioners therefore pray and petition the

Government of Hong Kong to revise the scale of salaries

payable to the European Nursing Staff of the Medical Department

and in the event of the proposed new scales not being

acceptable to the Government that a commission be appointed

to consider the necessity for revision of the scale of

salaries.

Your Petitioners will ever pray, etc.
